Claire turns speech into text on your iPhone. You decide when it runs. Airplane mode, a basement classroom, a site with no Wi‑Fi — transcription still works.

Claire is a life log you start and stop. It is not a hidden recorder. Start listening when you want the words kept. Stop when you do not.
That matters in a class, a café, a walk, or a meeting: the phone only transcribes while you have asked it to.
Sit in a room and keep the explanations. Search later for a formula, a date, or “the part about the nervous system.” Ask Claire to simplify a passage or quiz you on a lesson — when you use AI, and when you are online.
Claire hears the room through the microphone. It does not import a video file and it does not tap another app’s audio internally. If a lecture is playing on a laptop, the phone can transcribe what the mic can hear — same as a person sitting next to you.
A decision in a hallway. A thought you said out loud in the car. A useful sentence from a conference hall. Keep the words, then find them without scrolling the whole day.
Transcription and searching the text on your phone work offline. Asking Claire AI, web search inside answers, and account signup or billing need a connection.
