When AI is used, Claire can replace supported names, phone numbers, and emails with temporary codes first — like contactless payment hiding your card number. The model sees the code, not the real identity.

Your real transcript stays on the phone. For an AI request, identifying details that the anonymizer supports are swapped for tokens. After the answer comes back, Claire can show you the reconstructed wording.
The AI still sees the substance of the sentence (what was decided, what was taught). It should not see who the people are, if those names were masked.
When anonymity mode is on, Claire does not send the reconstructed answer to an online voice studio. That would punch a hole in the same privacy you just protected.
Instead, the reply is spoken with the iPhone’s built-in voice. Less natural, on purpose. Completely local. If you notice the change, the app is doing the safe thing.
Automatic masking, AES-256 encryption, and biometric unlock are included in every plan. Higher plans add work mode, scheduled mode changes, and more AI requests — not “the right to be private.”
